Mudeford Sailing Club (MSC) is celebrating after a very successful regatta week from 6 to 12 August. The club's annual 'week of silliness' in Christchurch Harbour gets sailors of all levels afloat and having fun together.

During the seven days of racing, in a huge variety of weather conditions, the club managed to squeeze in a Comet open meeting, a Hartley race day, 13 'serious' races, five fun races, a pursuit race and a crabbing competition!

A total of 56 sailors took part, most of them MSC members, but also three from Hengistbury Head Adult Sailors' Club, who enjoyed taking their racing skills to the next level.

The final tally was 470 outings on the water, and they all were very well-fuelled by the club's galley, including 28 cakes!
