Mylor Sailing and Powerboat School, based in Mylor Yacht Harbour, Falmouth, has won no fewer than four Cornwall Tourism Awards 2019/20, having gone through rigorous judging stages once again this year. 

At the awards ceremony, held in Truro Cathedral, the School received awards in three categories - Active and Sporting Experience (Gold), Access and Inclusivity (Gold) and Learning Experience of the Year (Bronze). 

To top this, they were also crowned Winner of Winners. This award goes to the business who has shown the most excellence all round, including customer service, communications, training, inclusivity and environmental considerations and more.

Tracey Boyne, owner of the School, said: “These awards help to build recognition for the work that the team do here for the delivery of sailing and powerboating and as inclusively as possible. This also helps to raise the profile of sailing and powerboating, safety on the water and the facilities we have for accessible activities.

“I am very proud of my incredible team - we will be having our own celebration to thank them all!”

Mylor Sailing and Powerboat School has won numerous tourism awards in the past, including Visit England Awards, South West Tourism and Excellence Awards Cornwall Tourism Awards.
