Oisin McClelland has battled some stiff competition and
challenging conditions at his first major regatta of the 2018 season.
Competing at the Finn European Championships in Cadiz, Spain
from 9 ï¿½ 17 March, the Donaghadee Sailing Club sailor battled strong winds and
huge waves to secure a solid 26th overall position.
RYANI High Performance Manager Matt McGovern said the
sailorï¿½s dedication over the winter months has put him in a strong position.
Matt commented: ï¿½Oisin has been working hard over the winter
with his training group at camps in Valencia, Spain.
