The OnBoard application process centres around the existing RYA Training Centre network. In order to be eligible to run the OnBoard programme you must be an RYA Training Centre, recognised for the RYA Youth Sailing or RYA Youth Windsurfing Schemes.
Step 1 - RYA Recognition
If you do not yet have RYA Training Centre recognition you can find out about the process of becoming a Training Centre here, the RYA Training department would be happy to run you through all the requirements and start your application.
If you have RYA Training Centre recognition, but don't yet have recognition for either of the Youth Schemes you can apply for a change of Training Centre recognition. If you are doing this it's best to speak to us first as you can apply for OnBoard recognition at the same time to save extra paperwork!
Step 2 - OnBoard Application
If you are already have RYA Training Centre recognition, and are running either of the Youth Sailing or Youth Windsurfing Schemes you can apply directly for OnBoard recognition.
You can now apply to become and OnBoard venue online. Simply click here to be taken to the application form.

From here your local Regional Development Officer will be in touch to discuss your application and help you towards becoming an OnBoard Recognised Training Centre.
