The MOB Sling has been developed and designed mainly for use by small rescue vessels, RIBs and day-boats. It is intended to aid in the recovery of persons from the water if they are unable to help themselves or are particularly heavy.

The inboard end of the Sling is secured to the boat and the outboard end, incorporating its own self buoyancy, is supported by itself in the waterThe casualty can be floated into the self supported sling in the the recommended horizontal postition. The Sling give a 2:1 advantage which eases the exersion needed to get the crewmember back into the boat. The Sling also has strong webbing sewn loops that can be used a foot or hand holds if the casualty can manoeuvre themselves.

Additional Information:

The MOB system can be operated by a single person easily. It rolls up for easy storage even in small boats. It incorporates flotation. It is quick and easy to attach or detach to the side of the vessel in many ways. Larger versions can be made to specification of your boat's freeboard. It is made with tough and durable materials.
