Major Events 2021-2022
2021
4th-9th April 2021 - RYA Youth Nationals - Plymouth Youth Sailing Club (420, 29er, Nacra 15, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7). All other Classes (Kite Foiling and Wind Foiling) will run at a different venue. (Both date and venue TBC).
1st-3rd May 2021 - Eric Twiname Junior Championships - Bassenthwaite
9th-10th October 2021 - Eric Twiname Youth & Junior Team Racing Championship - Oxford Sailing Club

RYA Eric Twiname Championships 2021, 2022 & 2023
The
RYA is looking for venues to host the RYA & Eric Twiname Trust’s premier Junior
Racing event in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
The
RYA Eric Twiname Junior Championships takes place annually during the first May
Bank holiday for the following British Youth Sailing Recognised Junior Classes.

- Windsurfer (4.5, 5.8, Techno 6.8 & Techno 7.8)
With Rutland Sailing Club confirmed to host the 2020
edition, the RYA is welcoming bids from clubs and venues who could host the
event in the three years after. Bids are to be received by the RYA no later
than 2359 GMT on Sunday 1st September 2019. The RYA will endeavour to confirm the
successful host venues no later than the 1st November 2019.
The
Bid Guidelines document outlines the specification of minimum requirements for
the on the water competition and the onshore facilities, and sets out the
rights and responsibilities of each party in hosting the event. The Bidding Form is a check list of minimum information
required to be supplied by the host.

RYA Youth Nationals 2022, 2023 & 2024
The venues for the RYA Youth Nationals 2020 & 2021 have been confirmed as Plas Heli, Pwllheli and Mount Batten Centre, Plymouth respectively.
The RYA will be commencing the bid process for future years in Autumn 2019.
