Information about opportunities and funding for GBR teams wishing to attend international events
Selection, training and funding support for British teams attending International match racing events.
Our aim is to grow participation in Match Racing across the UK and to support sailors in their development and progression up the World Sailing Open and Women's Ranking lists.
Skippers and crews will need to set targets for the events they want to attend during the year. Sailors would need to provide KPI’s and also show that they have a plan in place to review performance.
In the past the RYA has supported teams attending the World Sailing Youth Match Racing Championships, Governors Cup, Eurosaf Youth Match Racing Championships, WIMRA events and the EMRT Final.
