  • Laser 4.7 Summer Review Point: please remember there is a review point following the Youth National Championship and the Eric Twiname Championships.  There will not be an online application process this year, instead only non-squad sailors who wish to be considered for selection at the review point must email sarah.marjoram@rya.org.uk before the first review event (RYA Youth Nationals Championships 12 April 2019) notifying that they wish to be considered.  If you are already in a RYA squad .i.e. Toppers and are successful at the review point for the Laser 4.7 squad and accept your Laser 4.7 place - you will no longer be in that previous squad.  For all current squad sailors, you do not reapply; your position will be reviewed following the 2 review indicators.  Current and non-current squad sailors will be notified usually within 14 days of the secondary indicator / review point - good luck!  UPDATE 14.03.19: Due to the proximity of the Laser 4.7 European Championships, selectors will review the Laser 4.7 squad after the Primary Indicator (RYA Youth National Championships).  This is the earliest possible point to potentially make changes to the squad and give adequate time for planning in order to make arrangements for the 4.7 Europeans in France.  The Secondary Indicator will still be considered as a back-up, but it is very close to the Europeans.  However, it is still possible to consider results from this event as the review point covers the "summer" team which is for both the European and World Championships - and the Worlds are much later; August
