Can you develop and retain
the best young sailors in Northern Ireland?
If you have significant coaching experience and believe you know what
it takes to develop and retain the best junior and youth sailors, this could be
a role for you:
Youth
Performance Programme Coaches
We are looking to appoint 2
coaching teams in the Youth Performance Programme for Toppers and Lasers. We are looking for Lead Coaches
and also Assistant Coaches. The exact composition of the coaching team may vary
but we would expect each team to consist of a person to lead, plan and organise
training of the group and to take on additional responsibility of the class lead on
specific class coaching development and innovation.
The right coaches will have
aligned views with the RYANI Core values. With regards to sailor development they will
be able to evidence that they can create a safe and enjoyable environment while
ensuring each sailor is given appropriate challenges to maximise their
development.
RYANI should look to identify and ingrain core values for sailors,
parents, coaches and staff; especially the further up the performance pathway
an athlete progresses. This is to help develop aspects for high
performance campaigning and also a supportive and positive culture that
enhances racing.
These are underpinned by our
Critical Success Factors.
