Club Development

RYA Scotland is looking to organise and support a number of local and national opportunities for clubs and training centres, throughout Scotland, to get themselves organised and planned for and during the season ahead.

RYA Scotland Development Conference 2019

This event, organised by the Participation and Development Team of RYA Scotland, shall take place on Sunday 24th February at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa & Golf Resort.

The key theme for the day is around 'Ideas for Change' and the programme is listed below. We shall be joined by a number of presenters from across the boating and sporting landscape as well as a number of colleagues from RYA including Richard Falk (Training), Connor Swift (Membership), Kate Fortnam (Planning & Environment) and Jack Fenwick (Racing). Once again we shall have a number of clubs and centres support the day by telling 'their stories' providing live examples, best practice and potential pitfalls to avoid.

The day, is open to all clubs, centres and boating organisations and shall provide a great opportunity for attendees to connect to others in their local and Scotland-wide networks. It shall also provide an opportunity to share current practice whilst learning from others around key topics that shall help clubs and centres prepare for the season ahead.
