RYA Scotland is getting people afloat again at Scotland’s Boat Show with a focus on training at Kip Marina on the 11th-13th October.
RYA Scotland has supported Scotland’s Boat Show hosted by the Holt Leisure Group for the past three years. Working in partnership with RYA Training provider You & Sea, RYA Scotland are providing FREE powerboat training experiences during the three day event, to get you on the water straight away and build your confidence on the water.
The programme of on-water training can be booked in advance at the Scotland’s Boat Show event website or booking at the RYA Scotland Pavilion on the day.
The RYA Scotland Pavilion hosts a range of marine trade bodies and of course the main RYA Scotland Stand where you can find out about our work and the many benefits of becoming an RYA member.
This year we will have some virtual reality experiences along with guidance around RYA Safetrx. The app provides all recreational boat users, particularly dinghy cruisers, PWC users, RIB users, canoers, kayakers, wind and kite surfers and smaller boat users with an easily accessible and simple to use means that can inform HM Coastguard of their voyage plans and dynamic location in the event of distress.
The RYA members lounge at the Chartroom Restaurant will be available for members again this year and includes a Gold Members brunch on Saturday the 12th.
