The Scottish Club Trophy is an event aimed at young sailors who have just started racing and want to represent their club and come to a friendly racing and coaching environment.
Date and Venue– Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August - Loch Earn Sailing Club
Competitors are invited to compete in the Optimist, Topper, Feva, Tera, Hansa 303 and Windsurf classes
if they are under 16 as of 31 st December 2020.
The Scottish Club Trophy is an entry level event aimed at young sailors who want to
for their club at a summer event with the support of the top junior coaches in Scotland.
The weekend takes the format of a coaching day on the Saturday where the sailor will be able to take advantage of expert, fun, friendly and enthusiastic coaches which are tasked to create an enjoyable experience
for all.The Sunday will be competition day with the coaches there all day to support.
Bring the Family
We are really keen this event is a family event and would love to see the whole family getting involved weather this is on the shore cheering friends and family or volunteering to take one of the key roles support the event on and off the water.Why stretch to camping at the hoist venue or somewhere local.
Why Should Clubs get Involved in the Scottish Club Trophy(SCT)
The SCT is a great way to round of your clubs junior training with a fun filled weekend of sailing and windsurfing with like minded young people from across Scotland. Attend as a team wearing your clubs branding, with your club members and take part in fun competition, enjoy relaxing at the Loch side in the evening.You may even be able to take away the coveted Scottish Club Trophy.
