Many of the pages on this Training Support site are restricted to RYA training centres or those holding various qualifications within the RYA's coaching schemes. You will therefore find your way around the site more easily if you have registered on the site and signed in from the start.
There are two types of account: personal accounts and recognised training centre accounts. So that you can access the parts of this site that are relevant to you, please make sure you are signed in to the correct account. For example, a centre Principal may have two accounts - one for the training centre and one for their own personal use. Their training centre account will allow them to see pages and carry out tasks relevant to the centre which their personal account may not have access to.
Registering is a once-only process and gives you an account that can be used on both www.rya.org.uk and www.rya.org.uk/training-support.
Registering a personal account
If you don't have an account, it is very easy to create one. Just go to www.rya.org.uk/go/signup and enter your email address.
If your email address is recognised you will then be prompted to enter a few details
about yourself and to create your password.
If your email address is not recognised you will be prompted to enter your RYA membership/reference number and date of birth so we can match your email address with your RYA record and the qualifications that you hold. You will then be asked to enter a few details about yourself and to create a password.
Once you've completed your details, select 'Register' and you will be automatically signed in to the website. You will see a confirmation message which includes a link to the Training Support site and you should then have access to all relevant areas of that site. If not, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
Registering a training centre account
If you are the Principal of a Recognised Training Centre you can register your centre at www.rya.org.uk/go/register. You will need your centre's RYA reference number and activation code in order to do this. Once you have entered those, you will be prompted to enter your email address and create a password. Please note: the email address must be unique to this account and so cannot be the same email that you might use for a personal account.
If you need further help registering your centre, please contact email@example.com.
Forgotten your password?
If you are already registered but are having trouble signing in, it may be that you need to get your password reset.
On the sign in page there is a 'Forgotten your password?' link. Click on this and enter your email address. If you have an account, a temporary password will be emailed to you so that you can sign in and change your password. If this does not work, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.
