Etherow Country Park Sailing Club in the North West region, faced setbacks following, vandalism in 2021, but the club has turned adversity into opportunity. After losing power and water, they embraced eco-friendly solutions, implementing rainwater harvesting for toilets, negotiating free electricity reconnection, and reducing costs by installing efficient water pipes and heaters. They upgraded lighting to LED, recycled waste, refurbished abandoned boats for affordability, and is continuing to environmental improvements.
