Royal Lymington Yacht Club runs a community-based program -Wednesday Junior Sailing - which offers affordable sailing opportunities for local children between the age of 8 -18. It operates from April to September and is supported by volunteers. It aligns with the RYA OnBoard programme and hosts numerous events, engaging around 700 junior sailors annually, and developing youth sailing and partnerships with schools and outreach programs for disadvantaged children. The club collaborates closely with Lymington Sailability, promoting access to sailing with disabled individuals.
