Update: Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028

World Sailing has released a number of key changes to the originally published version of the Racing Rules of Sailing 2025 – 2028, which have now officially come into force from 1 January 2025.

A full Changes and Corrections document outlining the Rules updates has now been published by World Sailing and is available from the World Sailing website (see link under the ‘The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025 – 2028’ dropdown menu).

The RYA advises that anyone referring to the Rules ensures they have familiarised themselves with these updates.

For those who may have already purchased a copy of the RYA Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028, please note that the RYA will be updating you in due course on how to ensure your copy is up to date with the new changes. In the meantime, we advise downloading the Changes and Corrections document.
