Description

The Dragon series is organised by the RYA Cymru Wales Regional Committees and Clubs and supported by RYA Cymru Wales.  

The objective is to have 3-5 racing days in each Region (North, South, West) designed to build on Club Winter Training. Whilst quality racing is the intention of the series, courses maybe adapted and training may be provided to suit the age and ability of competitors. The series will cater for experienced racers (wanting to practice against their squad mates!) through to novice sailors travelling to their first competition. 

It is the ethos of the Dragon Series to welcome and help less experienced sailors. Experienced (Gold) fleet sailors and parents are asked to always assist less experienced sailors at these competitions e.g. check rigging, advice on how to replace unsuitable kit, where to go, launching etc. 

Club boats may be available to be hired on the day of the event (check with organising club).
