Description

In partnership with the GRAB Trust, RYA Scotland is running a beach clean ahead of the Clipper Round the World Race stopover in Oban this July.

Litter picking equipment will be provided, and can be collected from the meeting point detailed above.

On the day, we will also be sharing resources and guidance from the GRAB Trust and The Green Blue.

We'll also be encouraging any participants who partake in sailing to take The Green Blue boating pledge to protect, respect, and enjoy cleaner and healthier waters.

We encourage participants to wear practical footwear, and to keep an eye on the weather forecast to ensure everyone comes appropriately equipped.

This is a drop in event – participants are able to spend as much or as little time using the litter picking equipment as they desire between the hours of 11:00 and 16:00.

Please note, all children must have adult supervision.

Registration will be upon arrival.
