Description

This course will develop your skills from an RYA Windsurfing Instructor to RYA Senior Instructor.  

The course will cover, the role of a Senior Instructor, preparation and delivery of sessions, course and centre management, powerboat handling in a teaching environment and the RYA Windsurfing Schemes.

You will be assessed on a continual basis when running water-based simulated group management sessions 
 
You must have these pre requirements: 

• Minimum age of 18 
• Valid First Aid certificate 
• Safety boat certificate 
• RYA Safe and Fun safeguarding certificate 
• Recommendation from a RYA Principal 
• Completed Senior Instructor workbook 
• Evidence of 2 seasons full-time instructing as an RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor.
