RYA North East Intermediate Windsurf Instructor Course

Description

This 4-day training course will take you from being a Start Windsurfing Instructor to an Intermediate Instructor. This is part of a transition to becoming a more developed instructor and will build on your coaching skills. Successful completion will enable you to deliver the Intermediate windsurfing syllabus either planing or non-planing.  
 
You will be assessed on a continual basis over the 4 days including running water-based and shoreside sessions.  

You must have these pre requirements:

- Minimum age of 16 
- Valid First Aid certificate 
- RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate 
- RYA Safe and Fun safeguarding certificate 
- 50 Hours logged as a an RYA Start Windsurfing Instructor at an RYA Training Centre.
- Intermediate planing windsurfing certificate and the beach starting, and non-planing carve gybe clinics (You will be endorsed as a non-planing instructor).
- Advanced windsurfing certificate with water start and carve gybe clinics (you may be endorsed as a planning instructor). 

One you have successfully completed this course you will be qualified to teach, under the supervision of an RYA senior instructor, the Intermediate Windsurfing course, and Youth Windsurfing Scheme.
