This session aims to keep participants updated on current themes, trends, and best practices related to safeguarding young people in respect of their use of technology and social media. The training covers popular gaming and social media platforms, emerging online risks, and equips learners with effective responses, reporting pathways, and available support.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to: 

• Understand safeguarding in the context of young people’s lives and their use of social media.
