With an exciting series of races set to make a splash in the 2025 calendar, dates and venues have been announced for three key junior and youth events in the upcoming year, including the prestigious RYA Youth National Championships.
With promising sailors of all junior and youth class boats, boards, and backgrounds set to compete, events will be taking place across the country, inviting talents from a mixture of classes and age ranges to participate.
At the RYA, we are constantly looking for ways to make races more accessible and engaging for young people, underpinned by our recent Youth & Junior Pathway Review. This includes reviewing our regional events to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy fun racing experiences.
Niall McLeod, RYA Racing Services Manager, said: “Our competitions are beacons for the younger sailing community, providing opportunities not only to compete but also to come together to celebrate a shared love of being on the water. With excitement, high-adrenaline action, and opportunities to learn about what sailing has to offer, these events are not to be missed.”
While the young racers are at the forefront of our competitions, the incredible volunteer teams behind these events are a driving force in making these races a reality. With this in mind, if you would like to volunteer to assist at one of our events, you can find the form to apply online here.
We are also happy to confirm the following race officials for 2024-25:
Eric Twiname Youth & Junior Team Racing Championships 2024
2025 RYA Youth Nationals
2025 RYA ET Championships
