Boating's back - snap a prize

Send in your photos as we return to sailing!

Club members, racers, boaters, social sailors and keen amateur photographers are invited to take photos of the best action as boating gets into full swing and send in their favourites images to recognise the importance of getting afloat once again. 

The competition will run throughout April with the aim of celebrating the return to sailing throughout the region’s boating network, raising awareness about what the clubs and centres have to offer and inspiring new and existing sailors to continue to follow their nautical journeys.

All entries for the competition will be shared on @RYANorthWest social media channels, and an overall winner will be selected by the Regional Team. The winning photographer will be awarded a coaching session either for themselves or for  their club and the venue will be acknowledged in upcoming social media publications and in an online press release to share the news.

How to enter:

All you have to do is submit your favourite photos of your club, centre or venue in the RYA North West region by messaging @RYANorthWest on Facebook or by emailing Regional Communicator Sitara Bartle. Please include your name, contact details and the place where you took the photograph.

The closing date for entries is midnight on Tuesday 4 May 2021 and the winner will be announced during the following week.

Entrants can submit more than one image and by submitting a photograph, entrants agree that it may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Entrants should either have, or seek the consent of, any individuals identifiable in the photograph. Full terms and conditions can be found here .
