Sunday 01 March will officially mark the return of the ilovesailing calendar competition for 2020.
The ilovesailing calendar competition is now in its 8th year and is the perfect place for amateur and professional photographers to showcase their favourite sailing photos. From dinghy cruising to yacht racing, family days out to regattas, sunsets to sunrises, whatever kind of sailing you love or wherever you love to do it, capture the moment on camera and you could win a spot on the 2021 calendar.
“The competition has proved extremely popular over the years”, explains Emma Slater, ilovesailing co-ordinator. “We receive so many fantastic photos that really show just how wonderful and diverse the sport of sailing can be. I’m already excited to see what amazing photos we receive this year.”
Once again ilovesailing is asking sailing fans to share their favourite sailing photos and each month two lucky entrants will be picked to win a place on the 2021 ilovesailing calendar.
As well as claiming their spot on the 2021 calendar each winner will also win:
“Our gorgeous ilovesailing duck has become a bit of an icon over the years. Each year we change the colour and fans of ilovesailing try to collect all the different colours. This year to celebrate it being an Olympic year we’ve gone with a very fetching gold duck, which I hope will prove to be a good omen for Team GB!” commented Emma.
