Celebrate Paris 2024 at your sailing venue

Great Britain currently tops the all-time Olympic sailing medal table with more medals won than any other nation. During every Olympic Games we love to see the spotlight shine on sailing and to celebrate our inspiring Team GB athletes. 

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are just around the corner, with the sailing action taking place in Marseille from 28 July-8 August.

With the full 14-sailor team announced and into their final preparations, here are some ways that you can make the most of the special Games time and share the excitement with your members. 

Medal race watch parties 

Gather in the clubhouse and watch those nail-biting medal races on the waters of Marseille. Get the big screen on, hang your bunting, wave your flags and cheer along our Team GB sailors.

Win a supporter pack

We’re offering all RYA affiliated sailing clubs the chance to win an Olympic sailing ‘supporter pack’ with everything you need to host a watch party.

Each pack contains: 

• 2 x 10m strings of team branded bunting 
• 2 x A2 posters of the Team
• Handwaving flags 
• A5 posters of the Team GB sailors

We have 15 packs to give away and all you need to do is complete this form and the winners will be selected at random on Wednesday 3 July 2024.  Terms and conditions can be found within the form.

Host an Olympic-themed day

Along with watching the racing you could also spread the Olympic fever on the water too. 

An Olympic themed event can inspire sailors of all ages. Whether it involves relay races, games, medals or even a BBQ…is up to you!

Welcome your community

With the nation rooting for Team GB, the Olympics can offer a fantastic opportunity to invite the local community to share in the joy of sailing and come and have a go.

If your club would like to open the doors to those inspired by the Games, consider capturing local interest with some free or bookable taster sessions or host a Discover Sailing day.
