Jacqui Roberts, RYA Race Officials Development Officer, writes:

Ian has been a great asset to the region and support to the RYA in both his role as a race management coordinator and a mentor to our Race Officials Academy. I’m sure you will help me to thank him for his support in the region and I am sure you will continue to see him supporting events in the region and nationally.

So we are now looking for his replacement. The term is for four years initially, and you must hold an RYA credential. It will be working with our region’s clubs to provide race management talks/training and to assist clubs with the appointment of race officials, and with queries on race officials’ issues, directing them to the central advisory teams where appropriate.

Below is a job description. Please send applications and any questions to Jacqui Roberts
