Developed and tested in the Norwegian Sea, the same environment that inspired Helly Juell Hansen to create the first traditional rain jacket in 1877, the new Arctic Ocean Parka was designed hand-in-hand with Helly Hansen’s sailing ambassadors and team who are among the dedicated few to venture where conditions don’t favor the weak. Using HELLY TECH® Performance, a tough weatherproof combination of a waterproof laminate and a highly breathable inner fabric, the parka is built with the ultimate protective outer layer in a colorway that is inspired by the light and nature of the northern territories. The inner layer features insulation made with a high loft, quick dry recycled polyester for the ultimate warmth to weight ratio.
Built with key features specifically requested by Helly Hansen’s professionals, the Arctic Ocean Parka includes:

Access a wide range of Imray charts and pilot guides - all at your RYA members 15% discounted price!
Imray is the first port of call for information for cruising sailors. The company has a long and prestigious heritage which can be traced back to the late 1700s to the London Docklands, and it’s been leading the way with nautical charts and books ever since. Its focus turned to yachting and small craft during the 20th century, and a worldwide network of sailors, port authorities, official hydrographic organisations, harbourmasters, distributors and researchers contribute to Imray products. Imray’s award-winning electronic and paper charts are tailored for leisure use, combining the latest official data with small craft information from across this worldwide network. The cartography is easy to understand; deep water is dark blue, shallower areas are paler. Land is green, sand and drying patches are yellow. Lights and buoys are shown in their intended colours. Topographic (land-based) features are included to help with navigation. Fine latitude and longitude grids help you plot your position. International Hydrographic Organisation symbols and abbreviations are those that you’d learn on any sailing course.
The charts are designed to be practical and durable on small craft. Paper charts are printed on unique Pretex paper, which folds well and is durable in damp conditions. It can be drawn on with soft pencil and ballpoint pen. Charts are packaged in a sturdy recycled PVC wallet. Chart packs are available as a bundle of digital and paper charts in a handy A3 size wallet. You can use the paper charts seamlessly alongside digital versions on a mobile or tablet. Single sheet paper charts are perfect for passage planning, showing a clear overview of an area. Digital charts are raster versions for use in Imray Navigator mobile apps or as SD cards for use in plotters. Imray Tides Planner app includes more than 8000 ports and is used by several hundred thousand customers worldwide.
