Message from the Chair and CEO of RYA Cymru Wales

The health and safety of our boating community is paramount, and whilst Covid-19 continues to dominate headlines throughout the world, our immediate thoughts are with you and those close to you. Please keep safe and follow the guidance on protecting you from the virus.

We are fully aware of the challenge the pandemic gives to you as sailors, coaches, instructors, volunteers, members, clubs and centres. We continue to monitor and identify any support that might be available to you.

We will continue to update you on these opportunities, as well as campaigning on your behalf with Government and funding partner officials.

Our team are currently working remotely with our office in Plas Menai now closed. We will also be taking an enforced break over Easter to ensure that when we free to go out on the water again we will be fully prepared to support the activities throughout Wales. It is a worrying time for us all, but we look forward to promoting and protecting the interest of the boating community once all this is over.
