RYA Northern Ireland are pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Hill as an Administrative Assistant.
Michelle joins the team on a part-time basis, working fifteen hours a week, and brings with her a wealth of experience related to the sailing world.
I am originally from Pennsylvania but I have been living in Northern Ireland since 1993. I am a member of County Antrim Yacht Club and Carrickfergus Sailing Club and I enjoy keelboat racing as a crew member. I also volunteer on Committee Boats for events, mainly as a timekeeper.
I hope they see me as friendly, eager to help and always busy doing something. They’d also probably say I’m always trying to feed them.
A perfect day would include a long walk on the beach with my dog, having a nice meal with my daughters and possibly an evening sail on race nights.
I am an avid crafter and can often be found quilting, doing cross stitch and making papercraft. I am also a keen gardener. Having just moved house, I am looking forward to seeing what pops up in my flowerbeds. I also enjoy cooking, yoga, and travelling.
I am enthusiastic and organised and hope to bring this to the team. I am looking forward to working with the RYANI team.
If you have any administrative related questions, please feel free to contact michelle.hill@rya.org.uk
