Nominate Your OnBoard Volunteer For An RYA Volunteer Award
Many OnBoard venues rely on the time and effort freely given by our dedicated volunteers. Without whom, much of our OnBoard activity simply would not take place.
Do you know someone who deserves a massive thank you? With just a few days left, now is the time to submit a nomination for an RYA Volunteer of the Year Award.
Young Volunteer Award
Perhaps you know a young person aged 19-25 who has demonstrated a regular commitment or an inspirational contribution which is over-and-above their own participation or achievement.
Or is there an OnBoard graduate at your venue who is now a big part of club activity and volunteers regularly?

Making a difference
Whilst the Awards recognise long-standing volunteers who have dedicated years of time and effort to their clubs, there is also an opportunity to nominate those who have made a significant ‘one-off’ contribution with an Outstanding Contribution Award in the RYA Community Award category.
Perhaps there is someone at your venue who deserves to be recognised for all their hard work with a specific OnBoard project, or who over the last year has truly gone above and beyond anything that the club could have ever expected.
It is intended that successful nominees and their guest will be invited to receive their Awards at a presentation ceremony in November 2021. Whilst every effort will be made to honour this special day it may be necessary to make alternative arrangements for the presentation due to events beyond our control.
