OnBoard Reporting Is Back!

25 Sep 20

If you are the OnBoard contact for your venue then you will be shortly be receiving an email asking you to report your OnBoard data - this might be your first this year, so we wanted to give you a heads up!

We know that many OnBoard venues have been running reduced OnBoard activity during the coronavirus pandemic. However it is still really important that we record all activity – including if you have been unable to offer any sessions during September.

If this is the case with your venues, we still really need you to submit your data and enter a ‘0’ if you’re not in operation or haven’t had any individuals complete a first session during September.

Let’s talk prizes!

There are two prizes available to anyone who reports (even a 0) before 12.00pm on Tuesday 6th October. You will be entered into a prize draw to win either an Icom (RYA OB Official Supplier) radio or a set of OB rash vests worth £220!

Why should I report?

Since activity has started to pick up again, we’re really keen to collect evidence that this has been the case. Your reporting is really important to us - it not only allows us to feedback useful data to you which will give you a better understanding of how the impact of your programme is changing over time but it also helps us bid for grants and funding which help us to support you.

As an example, the £150,000 we recently granted from Sport England as part of the Tackling Inequalities Fund was made possible through the detailed understanding and knowledge we had about the size and scale of the programme, which we just wouldn’t have been able to do if it weren’t for the data you have provided over the years.

Director of Sport Development, Alistair Dickson adds: "It’s also helped pay for the session cards and other resources we have sent you. So, we really appreciate your support and thank you for the time you put into reporting."

How to report

You know what to do! It’s really simple and will only take a few minutes to report your venue’s OnBoard activity. All you need to do is complete a simple Cognito form which can be found here. Can you please report data for September, whilst you also have the option to complete for the month of August too.
