Since boats have returned to the water as restrictions have eased the RNLI have been called out to a number of incidents to rescue boats which have broken down, or that have been ill prepared for the conditions, which could have been avoided.
To highlight this the RNLI and RYA Scotland have created a short video explaining some of the measures you should consider before setting out, with a key message to stay safe afloat.
