Unleash the speed and excitement

For newcomers to SailGP, get ready to be enthralled by the exhilarating experience that awaits you. Prepare to witness high-octane speeds and heart stopping excitement from F50 foiling catamarans as SailGP dominates the iconic Navy Pier with two action-packed race days.

This intense competition will feature 10 rival national teams racing at 12 iconic venues around the globe this season. Leading the British charge against some of the world's finest sailors will be the formidable Emirates Great Britain SailGP Team, spearheaded by two legendary British Olympic athletes: driver Sir Ben Ainslie and strategist Hannah Mills OBE.

Last season, the British team achieved a thrilling qualification for the three-boat Grand Final race. However, they narrowly missed out on victory, finishing in third place behind the dominant Australia team led by Tom Slingsby, who secured their third consecutive championship, and the New Zealand SailGP Team captained by Peter Burling. In Season 4, the British team is determined to settle the score and aims to claim the top spot on the podium this time around.

Ainslie said: “We are delighted to have ITV onboard as the official UK broadcaster for SailGP. Having Season 4 on the free-to-view network will introduce more people to the sport and we hope they’ll be supporting Emirates GBR! The team and I can’t wait to race against the world’s best in front of what’s sure to be our biggest ever UK audience and we will be doing everything we can to take home the title, to know our efforts will be on the ITV network for every fan to watch back home gives us even more incentive.”

The inaugural season 4 event in Chicago about to commence, the excitement is building. Can the Brits break the Australian dominance?

It's time to find out!
