Club Hosting Applications for the Women on Water Development Programme (WOWDP) are now open

The Women on Water Development Programme is a new scheme which offers clubs the opportunity to host skills development training for women over 18 at their clubs during the winter season, supported by RYANI Women On Water Ambassadors who specialise in their pathway

Research shows that despite Women on Water programmes from the last several years being hugely successful, there needs to be more support offered to clubs in encouraging female participation after the summer months.

This programme will support clubs in boosting female participation by helping women over 18 to gain skills to progress in their chosen pathway.

The sessions planned for the future include;

  • Skills development in Race Officiating

  • Skills development in Team Racing

  • Skills development in Dinghy Sailing / Racing

  • Skills development in Powerboating

 Our WOWDP Ambassadors to be announced soon, so follow our social media for updates.
