RYA Youth Nationals to go ahead

Following advice regarding coronavirus issued by the Government today, the RYA is planning for the 2020 Youth National Championships to go ahead. 

The current guidance from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport is that sports events should not be cancelled due to the outbreak. 

The RYA will continue to monitor the situation and react to Government advice as and when it is issued. 

All Youth Nationals competitors will be contacted directly with key information in the run-up to the regatta. Updates will also be posted on the British Youth Sailing social media channels. 

If the RYA opts to cancel the Youth Nationals, full refunds will be issued to all competitors. For entry cancellations not made by the RYA, the standard cancellation policy is detailed in the Notice of Race.
