Y Rôl

Mae RYA Cymru Wales eisiau penodi unigolyn deinamig i fod yn Brif Weithredwr. Bydd yn arwain ein tîm bychan o staff i ddatblygu ymhellach a chyflawni ein hamcanion strategol ac i sicrhau llwyddiant parhaus ein sefydliad. I lwyddo bydd rhaid meithrin perthnasoedd effeithiol â phartneriaid a sefydliadau cyllido, chwilio am gyfleoedd masnachol a nawdd posib a chynrychioli’r sefydliad er mwyn adeiladu ar ein sylfaen lwyddiannus eisoes, i gynnal a symud y gamp a’r sefydliad yn eu blaen. Bydd gan yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus enw da am reoli pobl, cyllid, cyllidebau, prosiectau a phroffil cynyddol o incwm. Mae gallu arwain, rheoli a chymell staff a gwirfoddolwyr, a sgiliau trefnu, cynllunio a chyfathrebu rhagorol, yn hanfodol. Byddai ymwybyddiaeth o’r materion cyfredol ym maes llywodraethu chwaraeon a phrofiad o’r campau mae RYA Cymru Wales yn eu cynrychioli o fantais. Oherwydd yr amrywiaeth eang o bartneriaethau sy’n gysylltiedig â’r swydd hon, ystyrir y gallu i gyfathrebu drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg yn ddymunol.

Chief Executive Officer  

Salary: Circa £43,911 pa

Full time – flexible working is a requirement Benefits package including pension, 28 days holiday plus public holidays. 

Location: Can be home based but will require regular visits to the team at the Caernarfon office, as well as travel required throughout Wales. 

The Role

RYA Cymru Wales is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Chief Executive, to lead our small team of staff in the further development and delivery of our strategic objectives and secure the continuing success of our organisation. Success will require building effective relationships with partners and funding organisations, pursuing potential sponsorship and commercial opportunities and representing the organisation to build on our existing successful base to maintain and move the sport and organisation forward. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing people, finance, budgets and projects and of increasing profile and income. The ability to lead, manage and motivate staff and volunteers, together with excellent organisational, planning and communication skills is essential. An awareness of contemporary issues in sports governance and experience of the sports that RYA Cymru Wales represents would be an advantage. Due to the wide range of partnerships linked to this position the ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh is considered desirable.
