Dinghy Trails Special Interest Group

We are recruiting for members of the Dinghy Trails Special Interest Group (DSTIG) at an important and exciting time for the RYA Dinghy Trails project.

The RYA Dinghy Trails is an exciting and popular initiative started during the pandemic to encourage more people onto the water. Initially the RYA launched over 20 trails in PDF format around the country. We have now started a pilot project to create a mechanism to both increase the number of trails and keep them easily updated. We are looking for volunteers across the country to support this project.

More specifically the purpose of the Dinghy Trails Special Interest Group is to:

  • Create and develop new trails which are fairly distributed around the UK.
  • Provide updates to any changes to current trails.
  • Provide feedback on the useability of the project.

DSTIG volunteers should:

  • Have local knowledge and experience in participating in dinghy trails.
  • Be keen to share their own dinghy trials.
