Today, 4 million people are free to enjoy the UK’s coastal waters and inland waterways - be that a relaxing leisure pastime or a high performance sport. But the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) never takes this for granted, as the voice of boating it tirelessly strives to protect our public right to navigation, maintaining these freedoms for everyone tomorrow.

We deliver a range of programmes to support clubs and centres with their development and we are looking for individuals passionate about grassroots activity to join the RYA Midlands regional committee. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills to support sport, while gaining valuable professional, leadership and governance experience.

We are looking for individuals to join the regional team to provide support on both strategic and operational matters. Committee members will perform a critical role in helping staff, cascading strategy, regional governance, and providing a key feedback loop from the region to the central board. We are looking for people with the following skill sets to contribute on a flexible basis: Digital engagement; sustainability; diversity and inclusion, funding opportunities.
