This update is part of our ongoing commitment to provide a better online experience for our members and visitors.
We understand that you may have some questions about what this means for you. To help you with the transition to our new website platform, we’ve provided answers to the most common queries regarding this change and how it will impact you.
Why are we making these changes and how does this benefit you?
The RYA's new website is designed to improve your online experience through enhanced functionality and design. Based on valuable member feedback, we've made significant upgrades to create a more user-friendly and visually engaging site that works seamlessly across all devices.
The new platform broadens our reach to the boating community, making it easier for new and existing audiences to access our informative content, and view our captivating images and videos.
We've also simplified navigation, ensuring you can quickly find what you're looking for, while also introducing new features like RYA Network, a professional hub tailored for affiliates, clubs, instructors, and volunteers.
Additionally, the new website supports and aligns with future developments, such as e-membership cards, and makes processes like obtaining an ICC smoother. Moving forward, members will now be able to view all their RYA certificates online and upload any unregistered ones, keeping all certifications in one convenient place.
Ultimately, these updates will help us better share our work, serve our members, and continue to innovate moving forward.
When is the new website coming?
Our website platform is set to update on the 14th of July.
What do I need to do and why?
If you have an existing MyRYA account with us, you’ll be prompted to change your password when logging in to the new website. This is for security reasons, as we are unable to transport sensitive information between sites.
If you do not have an existing MyRYA login, the new website will ask you to create an account as if you were a new customer.
