Women On Water

The Women on Water programme aims to provide an activity that will support and grow female participation in boating. It aims to develop character traits, skills and water awareness with ongoing involvement to improve their health and wellbeing.

The programme allows clubs to target underrepresented groups that are interested in boating from lifelong boaters to newbies that are trying for the first time.  Each club will tailor the programme to suit the types of boats available at the club.  Activities can include dinghy sailing, yachting/big boat sailing, powerboating and Stand Up Paddle boarding to allow participants to have a taster with each or some clubs run one type of activity to grow your skills specifically

The success of the programme has now provided an opportunity to progress and in 2021 RYANI launched the WoW Personal Pathway.  This programme supports those interested in gaining more boating experience and qualifications within the sport.
