Enjoy RYA membership from as little as 12p a day.
I am a lifelong supporter of the work, particularly the training offered by RYA and the need to have watersports represented at a local, national and international level. The RYA provides a great range of support and information, easy to access, well presented and usually up to date! Keep up the good work representing the interests of all watersports, continue the policy of education rather than legislation and continue to stress equality and fairness, accessibility and ability, achievement and recognition.
I am proud to be a member, as a previous instructor, the RYA has featured heavily in my life in work and although I no longer use my membership professionally, I wish to continue to support boating. The member benefits of being a gold member provide good recognition of my continued membership and I like that recognition is given to members who have been long-time supporters. In addition the member benefits, such as the discounts with Volvo cars continue to incentivise me to stay.
Over the past 20 years (or more!) every time I have needed advice or a service from the RYA, it has been totally professional and my expectations have been met fully. A very professional organisation for all Members. I 'belong'. I would not think of boating without membership
I have been involved with the RYA for almost 50 years. Keep up the good work and remain relevant to contemporary social and sport expectations. Above all maintain that "Freedom Afloat" philosophy. RYA keeps people on the water safe, smiling, and joyous. Thank You
I think being part of an organisation like the RYA gives you a voice in areas impossible to get to outside of the group. Provides good legal and technical advice. Provides great training
I feel that the RYA is an institution which does so much good for all age groups. I have gained qualifications through the RYA and also know my subscriptions are helping young, old and disabled sailors and I value flying my Gold Burgee.
The RYA does everything it can to keep its members well informed about the sailing community and makes an amazing effort to make its members feel included.
The valuable efforts of the RYA on behalf of leisure sailors' interests are appreciated greatly, but are often underestimated by others. I hope the RYA continues to develop and that membership growth enhances its roles
The RYA excels at being there throughout the life and sailing journey, from helping us get started dinghy sailing and enabling my son to have life adventures as a dinghy instructor through to providing tax advice on our cruising yacht as we head south on our transatlantic adventure. Well done. Keep up the good work
The RYA is absolutely essential to the boating community in the way it teaches boating, of all kinds, advises boaters on all aspects of their sport/pastime both practical and legal, liaises with the government to protect the interests of boaters and looks after many other related issues for boaters of all kinds, too numerous to mention. If we didn't have it we would have to invent it. Aren't we lucky we already have it !!
