Have you received your affiliation recommendations?

Following the introduction of the new RYA Affiliation Portal earlier this year and our updated renewal process, over two thirds of RYA affiliates have engaged with the portal to provide further information about your organisations and the activity you deliver. 

The information provided has allowed us to better understand who you are delivering activity for, the mechanisms you have in place to support both volunteers and activity, and the areas we should focus our support services. 

All affiliates that completed the affiliation questions have now been sent personalised recommendations, outlining the systems and practices your organisation should have in place, or look to develop, to support activity. 

RYA Connected events

We are very much at the beginning of the new affiliation process and are keen to support you throughout this journey. 

As well as access to a wealth of online resources, all affiliated organisations are also invited to attend the FREE RYA Connected Conferences for further support. Returning this autumn with events across the UK, make sure to find out what’s happening near you and save the date. 

There will also be further opportunities to connect through online workshops and networking opportunities in each region throughout the winter. 

Each session will cover topics we know are important to affiliates, with particular focus on the most common recommendations across our network. You’ll be able to learn from our expert team and share knowledge with other affiliated organisations. 

It’s not too late

If you were unable to complete the affiliation questions before 31 March 2024, don’t worry there’s still time to submit your responses and benefit from a personalised list of recommendations for your organisation. 

Simply complete the two sets of questions on the RYA Affiliation Portal and we will provide you with personalised selection of considerations and actions to support your activity, as well as information about the guidance and support available to you.
