Naomi Eagles and Nathalie Carruthers join RYA Scotland

In late 2024 we were thrilled to welcome two new individuals to the RYA Scotland staff team, with Naomi Eagles-Lamont and Nathalie Carruthers joining us as Business Support Administrators on a part time basis.

Offering a wealth of admin experience as well as cemented interests in water sports and the outdoors, Naomi and Nathalie are already channelling their passion into the workplace.

Aptly, the pair also share a background in windsurfing, both having worked as instructors in the UK and abroad.

Speaking on the appointment, RYA Scotland Senior Administrator Pauline McGrow said:

“It’s great to have welcomed Naomi and Nathalie into the team. Their combined experience, positive attitudes, and expertise will make a huge difference to all we do.

“We look forward to all that’s to come in 2025 with the additional support they both offer.”

Between Nathalie’s insight into running an RYA Training Centre, and Naomi’s experience working in both an NHS GP Practise and on Superyachts – both individuals know what it takes to operate in a dynamic and busy environment, and are already making an impact within the RYA Scotland team.

With both new additions set to bring more friendly faces, can-do attitudes, and expertise across a number of fields to the table, we can’t wait for all that 2025 has in store.

Think you could contribute to the RYA Scotland team? We’re currently looking for an u25 Director to sit on the RYA Scotland board. Head to our vacancy page for more details.
