London and South East High Performance update

Zone Squads have all been selected with their land day completed. Their first weekend of sailing started a week later, but unfortunately a weekend with very little or no wind. This coming weekend is the start of there program for 2020

Numbers for this year:

  • Optimists 6 Boats
  • Toppers 21 boats
  • Windsurfers 18 Boards
  • 1 Feva’s joining the East Squad

Regional Training Groups

On from the presentation I gave at the last meeting this project is still ongoing, with most parents and sailors in this year’s squads having seen the new structure. The feedback has been very positive.

We are now in the process of booking venues for next year, so if any clubs would like to host a weekend please get in touch.

Regional Junior Championships

This event will run at Queen Mary Sailing Club on 26 and 27 September 2020. The fleets will be:
