A week in the life of the Swiss SailGP team

A opportunity for a young disabled person to experience a week in the life of a SailGP team.

The Swiss GP team are looking for someone for 1 week's work experience who wants to get involved with helping with boat operations, shore team duties, and listening to team briefing. The work experience can be adapted around your needs. The 'village' in Plymouth is temporary so some areas of the team's operation may not be fully accessible.

The Swiss Sail GP team have a partnership with a Norwegian organisation called the VI Foundation whose mission is to give disabled people improved quality of life, better health, increased self esteem and the opportunity to become more integrated. Support around accommodation and travel may be possible. The work experience is voluntary.

You need:

• a sailing background
• to be interested in the Sail GP event
• to be aged between 18-24
• available the week of 25th to 31st July 2022, in Plymouth

The RYA will short list applicants, forwarding a selection to the Swiss Sail GP team, who will make the final decision.
