You’ll find plenty of companies where you can charter a motor boat and skipper whether it’s for the afternoon, a weekend or a holiday, and they’ll provide everything you need to get on the water no matter what your experience.

The more skills you have the more able you’ll be to explore and therefore taking an RYA course is a great place to start. RYA Start Motor Cruising and Helmsman course are taught by qualified instructors and are perfect for getting to grips with the basics. You can take a course alone, or with your partner or family.
