Online exam payments can be made for the Short Range Certificate exam. Full details of arranging and paying for those exams can be found here.
You will need to have an account on this website before you can use this payment service. If you already have an account, please sign in at the top right of the screen.
If you don't yet have an account, you can create one free of charge by selecting Register at the top right of the screen.
Once you are signed in to your account, paying for your exam is a simple process of selecting the exam you want to take, agreeing to the conditions for taking the exam, confirming your personal details and making the payment. You should then receive two emails:
You can write your new address on the application form. Please also inform us by emailing Exam.Payments@rya.org.uk so that we can update our records for you. We will need your name, date of birth and customer/order number from your confirmation email.
Please check your spam/junk folder to see if your email has been marked as spam. The email will be sent from firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you still do not receive your form after one working day you can request a duplicate by emailing Exam.Payments@rya.org.uk . We will need your name, date of birth and order number from your confirmation email. Please note that it could take up to one working day for the replacement form to be sent. Office hours are Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700 UK time.
If your exam is going to take place before one working day, please download an SRC Application and Payment form, complete your personal details and sign the declaration application form section but DO NOT COMPLETE the payment section. Simply write the order number shown in your exam order confirmation email. The format of the order number is SW123456789.

Please send your correct email address to Exam.Payments@rya.org.uk so that we can email a duplicate form to the right address and correct your records. We will need your name, date of birth and RYA membership/reference number if you have one.
If you have paid twice you should have received two application forms. Decide which one you want to keep and then email Exam.Payments@rya.org.uk so that we arrange a refund for the other application. We will need your name, date of birth and the order number for the payment you wish to cancel, which you can find on your payment confirmation email.
Please call our Certification Team on 023 8060 4158 to pay for the fast track fee over the phone. Once you have done that, clearly mark your exam application form 'Fast Track' so that we can spot it when it arrives and process it quickly for you.
As each exam application needs to be linked to the correct person, each person taking the exam needs their own web account on www.rya.org.uk and must be signed into that account when paying for their exam. However, the same credit or debit card can be used to pay for multiple exams.
The requirements for the SRC exam, including the exam fee, may change from time to time. To ensure the RYA comply with the most recent conditions set by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency the application form is valid for a period of 6 months. To extend the validity period please contact the RYA Certification department on 00 44 (0)2380 604158 during UK Office hours. You will be asked to confirm that you meet the requirements in place at that time and may be required to pay any difference between the exam fee in place at that time and the fee originally paid.
