Prize draw terms and conditions – RYA welfare surveys 

Complete our surveys for the chance to win a dryrobe® 

  1. The prize is a DryRobe. There are two prizes available - one for participants of the young people welfare survey and one for participants of the parent, carer and guardian survey.  
  2. The prize draw will run from Monday 25 March until Sunday 28 April. Entries received after 23:59 on the closing date will not be entered into the prize draw.  
  3. The prize draw is open to young people under the age of 25 years old and parents, carers and guardians that have completed the children and young people welfare survey and the parent, carer and guardian survey.  
  4. The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom and the prize will only be dispatched to a UK address.  
  5. The prize draw is not open to employees of the Royal Yachting Association, their families, or any party engaged by them.  
  6. There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries made by agents, third parties or on behalf of an entrant will be deemed invalid.  
  7. The winners will be selected at random.  
  8. The RYA’s decision as to eligibility and winner shall be final. No correspondence will be entered into.  
  9. The winner will be notified by email after the closing date and asked to provide a postal address for delivery. If the winner is under the age of 18 a parent or guardian will be notified  
  10. If (i) the winner(s) cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by the RYA, or (ii) the winner does not return details within 14 days of notification that they have won the prize, we reserve the right to redraw in order to select a winner on these terms.
  11. The RYA reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value. No cash alternatives are available.  
  12. The prize draw is being promoted by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA), whose registered office is at RYA House, Ensign Way, Hamble, Hants, SO31 4YA.  
  13. The winner is encouraged to allow their name and image to be used in any publicity material, if the winner is under 18 years of age, consent will be sought from a parent or guardian.
  14. Any personal information you supply will be used for the purposes of administering this prize draw and for no other purpose, except where you choose to opt-in to further communications.  
  15. The legal basis for the prize draw shall be contract. Any personal information will be stored in accordance with the RYA Privacy Policy.  
  16. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English Law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.  
  17. The RYA reserves the right to cancel the prize draw if circumstances arise outside of its control.
