The RYA welcomes the further easing of restrictions for sports facilities in England which will take effect on 25th July. This will make it possible for your club to open its changing facilities, provided it meets the requirements set out by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport; these are included in our Club Guidance on restarting boating.
Over the past week we have shared our club guidance with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport in order to gain a better understanding of the exact implications of the return to sports framework for our sport. In particular clarity around the crewing of boats by people from multiple households and the limitations for regatta organisers.
We will be discussing both of these topics with Ian Walker the RYAs Director of Racing in this weeks Club Zone video. You can watch this from Thursday at 4pm and on our YouTube channel on the ClubZone playlist.
This content is also available as on the Club Development Podcast which can be downloaded from Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts.
