Counting down to our virtual Annual General Meeting

To protect our members, this year's Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Royal Yachting Association will take place virtually on Friday, 20 November 2020 at 11:00hrs.

You are warmly invited to attend by visiting the website www.rya.org.uk/go/agm. As a member of the RYA, you are also invited to vote on the resolutions placed before the RYA AGM for 2020. In accordance with current guidance, all voting will be conducted in advance of the AGM and voting will close on Thursday, 19 November 2020 at 11:00hrs.

This year we are working with an independent partner, UK-Engage, to manage the voting process and compile and verify the results. Members of the RYA will be sent information on the AGM by our independent partner, UK-Engage, including how to vote on each of the resolutions.

Routine business at this year's AGM will include a report on the year ended 31 March 2020; receipt of the report from the Board of Directors and Accounts for the year; election of the President and re-appointment of the Auditor. There are two Special resolutions to change our Articles of Association and Board Regulations. We will also update you on our Member and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
